1. What This Site Does With Your Data

S'more's Outdoors tools do not require an account and use only privacy-first, cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics), which sets no cookies and collects no personal data. The values you enter into a calculator — vehicle measurements, weights, tank sizes, appliance settings, and the like — are stored only in your browser's localStorage so each tool remembers your setup on your next visit. That data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us. Each tool's own privacy page names the specific storage key it uses. If you use the optional “Copy share link” button, your current inputs are encoded into the link itself so whoever you send it to can reopen the tool with your values pre-filled — nothing is sent to us, but anyone you give that link can see those values. For offline use, your browser may also keep a local copy of this site’s pages (a standard service-worker cache), which you can clear like any other site data. Your chosen unit system (US, Metric, or UK) is also saved locally in the same way and applies across every tool.

The exceptions are the "Got a tool idea?" form on the home page and the floating "Feedback" panel in the partner portal: if you use either one, the message you write (and your name/email, if you choose to include them) is sent to us and forwarded to our support inbox through our email provider, Resend, solely so we can read and respond. We do not use this for marketing, do not share or sell your email to anyone, and do not store it in a database beyond the resulting email.

The same applies to the "Support us — get a free sticker!" form: if you use it, your name, mailing address, and email (if you choose to include it) are sent to us the same way, solely so we can mail you a sticker. We do not use this for marketing, do not add you to any mailing list, do not share or sell your email or mailing address to anyone, and do not store either one in a database — they exist only in that one internal email, and are deleted once your sticker ships.

2. Cookies & Advertising

We may display advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or generally at aboutads.info. 3. Affiliate Links

This site contains Amazon Associates affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, Amazon may set a tracking cookie and we may earn a commission — this does not change the price you pay. Amazon's handling of your data is governed by Amazon's own Privacy Notice.

4. Server & Hosting Logs

Our static-site host may log standard technical information (IP address, browser user agent, requested page, timestamp) for security and operational purposes, in line with that host's own privacy practices. We do not cross-reference these logs with any personal identity.

5. Children's Privacy

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Your Choices

Since the only data we hold is stored locally in your own browser, you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain, or by using the reset controls inside each tool.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we add analytics, change advertising partners, or otherwise change what data this site touches, we will update this page and its effective date.
